Portfolio Performance (Alpha) 

The world’s power systems are changing. There is a shift from a one-way flow of energy from a small number of transmission network connected generators, to a two-way flow of energy delivered from vast numbers of distribution-connected and behind-the-meter distributed energy resources.

These resources include renewables, other generators (e.g. backup gensets), battery energy storage systems, flexible loads, and bi-directional electric vehicle charging and electric vehicle fleets. These resources may be owned or controlled by traditional energy suppliers, third-party aggregators and demand response providers, and new energy services businesses, and end customers.

Traditional approaches to tracking, forecasting, and reporting on commercial and environmental performance don’t scale to the size and complexity of these new multi-site, multi-asset portfolios. That’s where Gridcognition comes in.

Portfolio Performance will enable you to configure multiple portfolios of sites and assets for performance management including virtual power plants, EV charging networks, community solar and battery portfolios, commercial and industrial sites, and embedded networks and microgrids.
