What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will drive the marketing and communications function with an eye on the complete customer lifecycle; from brand awareness and demand to customer onboarding and retention. As you expect in an early stage company, you’re both hands-on creating content as well creating the content plan, refining our messaging and nurturing our prospects and customers through the customer lifecycle.
You will manage the creative requirements for the business, using external specialist resources where required and own the effective use of marketing automation to engage our prospects and customer. The role will require you to build and execute marketing programs across channels and segment, based on a sound strategy you’ve developed in collaboration with your other key stakeholders.
You’re comfortable managing multiple projects concurrently and have experience working with external agencies and partners. Working in an early stage company environment, you are comfortable being hands-on in the execution of programs, but equally capable of effective delegation as the team grows.
- Self-motivated, flexible, creative, collaborative, and adaptable
- At least five years experience in executing on the responsibilities outlined above
- A passion for technology and innovation
- Proven writing and editing skills
- Strong campaign planning and management skills
- Hands on experience managing Marketing Automation, CRM, and Analytics systems such as Hubspot and Google Analytics
- Able to work in a remote-first startup environment where systems and processes are still evolving
