Marketing Communications Manager

Victoria, Australia / Remote • Permanent Full-time

Gridcognition is a software startup with a mission to accelerate the transition to a decentralised and zero-emissions energy system.

There will be trillions of dollars of investment in distributed energy assets over the coming years and decades as the energy system becomes fully decentralised, fully electrified, and zero-emissions. We’re here to help the people rolling out these new energy assets to get both the best economic outcome for their stakeholders and the best environmental outcome to tackle the climate crisis.

It’s no exaggeration to say that the energy/climate/clean-tech space is incredibly exciting to be part of right now, with a rapid pace of innovation and investment. With customers in Australia and the UK, we are now ready to accelerate our global growth. The people you’ll work with are a diverse group of individuals who don’t take themselves too seriously, but are dead-serious about striving towards a decentralised, decarbonised energy future. If that sounds like your style, read on.

What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will drive the marketing and communications function with an eye on the complete customer lifecycle; from  brand awareness and demand to customer onboarding and retention. You’re comfortable managing multiple projects concurrently and have experience working with external agencies and partners. Working in an early stage company environment, you are comfortable being hands-on in the execution of programs, but equally capable of effective delegation as the team grows.
